It was rustic, quiet, and had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. In particular, Patti was an incredible host both in her communication with us prior to the trip, as well as her responsiveness when I reached out with questions about how to find more toilet paper. Although neighbors are close, this spot on Bear Island was incredibly quiet and peaceful, especially the access to the lake. We have stayed at a few different lakeside places on Lake Winni and this was by far our favorite because the cove where the cabin is located is calm with minimal waves from passing boats (there are also all of the water toys and things we could possibly need to enjoy the lake). The proximity to the public boat launch at Goodhue Marina in Meredith was also ideal. Thank you for a great trip - we will be back!" (10/5)

The flat stone grill made every meal a breeze and we’ll be back next summer!  Only change for next year is adding another day.
